To be Human is to be alive
To laugh
To Wonder
And even to cry
To make the most of each day that passes by
To love
To Honor
To watch the sky
To be Human is to have a heart
To be scared sometimes when given a start
To fall head over heels in a single glance
To break down sometimes when someone has passed
To be Human is the greatest thing
To know your loved despite everything
To know that life is full of joy
To know you can be what you adore
To know your reach is to the stars
To know this life can take you far
To be Human can be many things
The greatest is a love of life lived day after day without strife
Next can be to know your loved for you are special to those above
Followed by a family and do you know your family tree
After that is the work you do and may it be the best from you
And last it's all that you enjoy that makes you smile or laugh with joy
What's not human is to be cruel
To break a heart because your a fool
To cause pain where none is needed
To cause hurt for no good reason
To be the one that only takes
To be someone who only hates
That's not human that's just mean
You cannot enjoy life or even dream
So be Human and live a full life
You can and will if you know what's right.

My Plea to you and My Pledge to all
Life is the greatest gift we have. Sometimes we take it for granted and sometimes it's taken away all to soon. It's up to each of us to live our lives the best we can. We each have the choice of making a difference and improving this world of ours. We can chose to help each other or hurt each other. We can chose to live and let live or to fight an kill each other. We can chose to see the good in each person for who they are and let racism die a much needed death. Cruelty isn't something where born with because we learn to be cruel as we grow. We learn of the evils in this world and it's our choice to accept it or fight it. I chose to fight, to live, to love, and to stop the hate where ever I find it. I made the choice to show my humanity and help my fellow man. I choose to help the planet that protects us all and to respect the things it provides us for life. I decided to do my part and I hope that others will do their part so that the effort will not be in vain.
We have but one life to live and it's up to each person to live it the best they can. To not fill it with love and joy would be a waste. To not share in the beauty of life can only bring misery. Instead it should be lived each day to the fullest. Let everyday bring a new joy and share that joy with those you love. Chose to make your life, the world, and the lives of those around you the most wonderful of all. It can be done and the best part is knowing all you have to do is make the choice to try. The rest will take care of itself in the fullness of time. So look for the beauty in life and don't waste the gift you have been given.
