In my Life

My love

Advertise | AdChoices

In my life there have been many things

Some could make me cry

Then there are those moments you could say

That raised my spirits high

Life is never easy

Was never meant to be tame

Thats just the way it is

When life plays it's games

Some could make you laugh

Some to weep with joy

Some to make you cry

Just like a little boy

Time has been my friend

But my enemy too

It realy just depends

On how I see the view

A view that help to shape me

The one that help me grow

A view that made me into

The man that you now know

This man who has a heart

A very caring one

It reaches out to those

Who cares as I have done

A stranger needing help

Family when in need

For anyone one whose sad

This heart will always bleed

Sometimes it brings tears

Most times it brings joy

It's never been afraid

To let it's emotions explore

So yes it's brought me pain

An yes it's brought me joy

But best of all it's brought me

The friends that I enjoy

Friends that have a heart

A family I adore

A love that last forever

And will forever more

An with this I completed the transition from remembering the past and those who have moved on to the living and those we must cherish each day for no-one knows how much time will have.

Thanks Frostyone

Right now I'm trying to come up with ideas for my next or maybe a short story. Kinda distracted because I have to go to court as a witness for the DA. I just got the Subpoena and I thought this was over when they caught the guy back in 2008. The trial starts Monday and I'm sad to say it's a murder case. Who knows maybe I'll just write what I'm feeling to get it off my chest and start the work on a poem for my wife when I'm done. Our anniversary is next month and it will be a good way to get back in a good mood.

Anyway I do have one thing between now and then that is sure fire for being in a good mood. If it doesn't rain where taken two off my grand kids fishing. Nothing says trouble like a 2 and a half year old, a 6 year old, a puppy that's almost 1 years old, fishing poles, hooks, worms, a wife with a bad back, and a lake. Since I know you've been down that road all I'll ask is you wish me luck.

Writing is always the best way to get things off your chest and make you feel better in my experience.

Rofl!!! you need all the luck you can get with the fishing trip so GOOD LUCK :)

Thanks

It seemed like the natural thing to do after the last few weeks and to show that no matter what brings us down we can always climb up out of it.

Tony, this is lovely! I don't know what happened, but I commented on this early this morning to say thanks for adding it to Good News Wednesday, but that comment got lost somehow.

Thank you :)

My laptop locked up on me when I took the wife to her doctors appointment right in the middle of a reply. So far I've found two of the replies didn't post so I guess where in a rare club called "Hey what happened" :)
